Management System Requirement

Your Conflict of Interest Management Procedure must include the following:

How you identify, record and monitor actual, potential and perceived conflicts of interest (e.g. staff assessing family members or colleagues).
How staff and contractors are required to declare conflicts of interest on appointment and on an ongoing basis.
How you manage and mitigate declared conflicts (e.g. by reallocating assessment/IQA decisions).
How you report significant conflicts of interest to the awarding body where required.

These points are intended to help centres design procedures that align with good practice and the expectations typically set out by the regulator. Centres should also refer to the latest guidance issued by LeadQual UK Ltd and the regulator when finalising their policies.
